The name says it all – "Fumé" is French for smoke. The typical limestone soils, partly interspersed with flint, produce an aromatic smokiness that gives this wine its name. Light yellow with subtle greenish reflections in the glass - lots of pressure and tension on the palate, with a beautiful creaminess that prevents the wine from appearing too austere despite all the salinity and minerality, ensuring good balance and exceptional drinkability.
R3 represents one of the best Riesling growing regions in the world – the Rheingau. Three of the most famous places in the Rheingau region = R3. Rheingau Riesling Remastered.
