A good cheese board brings people together.
Our deli board makes every celebration, every evening with friends, and every get-together a little cozier – and above all, truly delicious.
The cheese comes from us, Backensholzer Hof in North Frisia. About 500 cows live on the organic farm, and their fresh milk is processed daily right on site into raw milk cheese. Everything is created within its own cycle – from the pasture to the cheese dairy.
The farm also includes a biogas plant, a farm kindergarten, and a farm shop where you can sample the cheeses.

The star of the board is our award-winning, artisan raw milk cheese. You'll find a large selection of cheeses with us: from the mild little Husumer to the strong Friesisch Blue. We'll help you find the perfect varieties for you during a consultation.
In addition, there's plenty of space on the deli board for homemade jam and fig mustard, nuts, crackers, gourmet salami or cheese crisps, for example.
All organic, of course!
Your finished board is waiting for you at the farm shop in Oster-Ohrstedt. Oster-Ohrstedt is located exactly between Husum and Schleswig.
A trip to us is worthwhile: discover the farm shop, the bistro and the huge adventure playground, or visit our animals and watch the milking parlor at the farm.
You can pay for the finished cheese board on-site when you pick it up.
We kindly request that you return the cheese board and the accompanying bowls as soon as possible.
As a security measure, we will record your ID card number. Please bring your ID with you when you pick it up.
